connecting series

This series of six is concerned with the examination of parts within the whole 48” square surface. Even though the arcs consume the entire surface, in order to give equal attention to their articulation, I divided the surface into a grid. Being able to move from square to square to maximize the imagery within a more narrow view allowed the entire work to sing with vivid color and tonality.
