These are three of the fifteen drawings it took for me to prepare for painting in oils. The imagery was intended to loosen my stroke. However, the strokes in drawing and in painting are quite different. The drawings have absolutely no bearing on the imagery of the painting I eventually began. I was simply revving my engine before launching myself into the painting mode.
