lyn horton: artist - writer
art - sight writing - words resumes - history contact - communicate

While art provides the foundation for my work, the use of words to portray an image is a discipline that I have found more than rewarding. The way the world has changed since I began writing is as simple as looking inside the pages of my first published book "The Home Computer Handbook," where boots were done with floppy disks and Windows weren't even on the drawing board.

The evolution of my work on the page has its roots from the sounds I hear - the notes, melodies, and aural arts known as creative improvised music.

"Lyn is an insightful music critic, with special sensitivity to nuances of writing on music. She has an original voice and a devotion to genuine artistry..."
